Meet our staff

Terry Roach“I am a motivator. I enjoy motivating people to make changes in their lifestyle to improve their quality of life. The Body Stabilization Training Program is a religion for me- I preach it, teach it, live it and apply it. The BST program has allowed me to achieve success I never would have thought possible. It is up to the individual to take responsibility for their own wellness and get control of their lives. No one can change the way we move except ourselves. We, at Body Stabilization Training, Inc, will help you to achieve that goal!”

Physical Therapy

Meet our Physical Therapy staff: Dara, Ricki, and Jason.

Richelle "Ricki" Lewis, DPT

Ricki joined the Body Stabilization Training family in 2005.  She was born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA and moved to Arizona in 1997 to attend the University of Arizona, where she earned her BS in Physiology.  Ricki then went on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at USC in 2004.  She has lived in Phoenix since completing school, working in several outpatient orthopedic clinics, before finding, as she puts it “the perfect fit” at BST.  Her clinical expertise covers a broad spectrum of treatments for sports/work-related injuries, chronic pain, and post-operative rehabilitation.  Her hands on approach puts an emphasis on manual therapy to the spine, shoulder, and pelvic girdle, which incorporates joint and soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release, and muscle energy techniques to achieve a balanced body and a reduction of symptoms.  She is happily married and is enjoying her first year of motherhood to a healthy baby girl.

Jason Wheeler, DPT

Jason is originally from Omaha, Nebraska and after a 2-year stop in Jacksonville, Florida where he worked in an outpatient orthopedic clinic; he loaded up his car and brought his dog, Duke, with him to Phoenix in April. He received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Creighton University.  His continuing education coursework has included a manual therapy certification course, Egoscue technique, and golf specific rehabilitation.

Jason has had multiple surgeries on his knees, shoulders and right ankle from sports related injuries and has extensive experience being a patient versus the Physical Therapist. In his spare time Jason is an avid golfer and as long as it's warmer than 40 degrees outside you can find him on the course or at the driving range.  He recently returned to running, hiking and biking after having his right ankle reconstructed last September.  During the fall and winter he enjoys watching the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Duke Blue Devils or Green Bay Packers whenever possible.

Dara Jacobs, PT Tech

She was born and raised in Scottsdale. Ever since she can remember she has been very athletic and surrounded by family members who enjoy physical activity. In high school, volleyball was the sport she was most passionate about, but she also played basketball and ran track all four years. She played competitive volleyball starting at age 12 until her senior year of high school. She graduated from Coronado high school with honors and a 3 year varsity volleyball letter.

She always knew she wanted to work somewhere in the medical field. She attended the University of Arizona for 2 ˝ years with the intentions of going into their nursing program. She then transferred back home and attended Arizona State University. She graduated cum laude with a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science. She is now continuing her education and pursuing her nursing degree. She loves working with people and doing all that she can to have a positive influence on their health.  She feels her job here at BST has given her such a great opportunity to use her education and her heart to help patients achieve their goals.
